Oggie Cooder

Oggie Cooder by Sarah Weeks
This book was about a un-popular forth grader named Oggie Cooder. Oggie is a weird kid in school, he has no friends, and his parents own a thrift shop. One day at lunch, while Oggie is eating a piece of cheese a girl in his class tells him it looks like a state! Now Oggie chews cheese into shapes all the time, actually its the only way to calm him down! When a popular tv show is looking for contestants in his neighborhood Oggie additions by mistake and becomes famous! He learns that fame isn't everything.

This book was enjoyable and very funny! The chance I would vote for this book i 66%.

  1. Hi...I think every student would enjoy meeting Oggie, don't you? This book is a lesson that we have to be our true selves instead of trying to fit in with everyone else. Looks like a good book!

I noticed that your NH Library List isn't revealing a book list so I found the list and posted it below and if you'd like to use it, just highlight it, copy it, go to your dashboard & click "layout" & after that you'll choose "add a gadget", click on the 4th gadget down called "html/javascript", and in the next screen you'll paste the book list & then you'll have the list for all to see on your home page. Hope this helps!
